How it started
By the time we welcomed our third child, I had a startling realization—we had never taken professional family photos. Determined to change that, I scheduled an in-studio session with a local photographer. We showed up, dressed up, smiled, changed outfits, smiled again, and patiently waited to see the results. When the prints finally arrived, we framed them and proudly hung them on the wall. But something was missing. As I looked at those photos, I realized they didn't capture who we were.
Our personalities were lost, replaced with stiff poses and smiles that felt...fake. These images didn’t tell our story—they were just pictures.
That’s when I knew there had to be a better way. I picked up a camera and set out on a mission: to create photos that capture real emotions and genuine moments. And that’s how my photography journey began.
